Planosys is a privacy-focused web analytics platform designed to provide meaningful insights. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in two distinct contexts:

  • Section A – Data processed by the Planosys Web Analytics Script (for visitors of websites using Planosys Web Analytics)
  • Section B – Data collected when you use the Planosys Website (for Planosys customers)

Section A — Data processed by the Planosys Web Analytics Script

A1. What We Collect

When the Planosys Web Analytics script runs on a website, it processes limited technical information necessary to generate aggregated analytics insights, including:

  • Page URL
  • Referrer URL (if available)
  • UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign, term, content)
  • User-Agent (for browser and device classification)
  • Approximate country derived from the IP address at the time of request. The IP address is not stored in our analytics data.
  • Event type (pageview or click) and timestamp
  • Action (a user-defined value associated with a tracked click event)
  • A temporary session-based browser storage entry may be used to hold UTM parameters during an active session. This data is automatically cleared when the browser tab is closed.
A2. What We Do Not Collect
  • We do not use tracking cookies.
  • We do not create persistent identifiers for visitors.
  • We do not track individuals across sessions, pages, or websites.
  • We do not store IP addresses in our analytics data.
  • We do not use browser fingerprinting techniques.
  • We do not collect names, email addresses, or other direct personal identifiers.
  • We do not sell or resell analytics data.
A3. Data Handling and Retention
  • Raw event data is retained for approximately 7 days for aggregation and system integrity purposes, after which it is automatically deleted.
  • After aggregation, only anonymized summary statistics are retained.
A4. Legal Basis and Compliance

Processing is based on the legitimate interest of website owners to measure traffic and improve their websites while minimizing data collection. Planosys Web Analytics is designed to operate without tracking cookies or persistent personal identifiers.

Section B — Data Collected by the Planosys Website

B1. Account Information

When you log in or Sign Up to the Planosys platform (www.planosys.com) using Google Sign-In, an account is automatically created if one does not already exist. We store your email address for authentication and account management purposes. We do not store passwords.

B2. Cookies and Session Management

The Planosys website uses a first-party cookie that is strictly necessary to maintain your login session. This cookie is not used for analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking and expires automatically after logout or a period of inactivity.

B3. Payments

Payments for paid plans are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Planosys does not store full payment details. Billing and payment information is handled in accordance with Paddle’s Privacy Policy: https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy .Payment- and subscription-related communications, including receipts and billing notices, may be sent directly by Paddle.

B4. Email Communication

Emails sent by Planosys are delivered using Resend, our email service provider. Email processing is subject to Resend’s Privacy Policy: https://resend.com/legal/privacy-policy .

B5. Data Retention and Deletion

Account-related information is retained as part of the Planosys system. Accounts that are no longer active may be marked inactive but are not automatically deleted. Relevant account, billing, and security records may be retained for operational, legal, or audit purposes.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new features, operational practices, or legal requirements. By choosing to use the Planosys website or services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of the most recent version of this Privacy Policy.
